Meet Our Veterinary Care Team
Dr. Heather Gould
Practice Owner & Veterinarian
Dr. Gould graduated from Clark University with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in psychology, and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University. She has worked here at Apple Country Animal Hospital since 2007 and became the owner in 2018. Dr. Gould teams up with owners to ensure the diagnostics and treatment plans are suitable for their pets. She specializes in senior care, pain management, and internal medicine. She and her husband have two children, one bird, one dog, and two cats! She enjoys baking, running, and reality TV when not at work.

Dr. Caralee Manley
Veterinarian
Dr. Caralee Manley brings 17 years of expertise to the veterinary field, with a deep commitment to various aspects of general wellness. She takes pride In nurturing the human-animal bond, excelling in preventative medicine, and providing compassionate care for senior animals. In her free time, Dr. Manley enjoys supporting her two daughters in their sports endeavors and playing hockey. She also enjoys hiking with her rescue dogs and cuddling with her beloved cats, Pasta, and Wifi. Traveling holds a special place in her heart, especially trips to Prince Edward Island, her husband’s hometown, where she can create lasting memories with her family.
Dr. Rebecca Coldwell
Veterinarian
Dr. Coldwell decided to pursue a career in Veterinary Medicine at six after learning that she could be a doctor AND work with animals! Fortunately, her dream was realized after she graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. Before attending Vet school, she graduated from Clemson University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree in animal industries. A Massachusetts native until 11, Dr. Coldwell returned to Massachusetts following Vet school and has been practicing. She specializes in feline medicine, soft tissue surgery, wellness, and preventative care. She enjoys developing collaborative relationships with clients to help them provide the best possible care for their best friends. When not working, she enjoys spending time at home with her life partner Peter and their four cats – Pepper, Henry, Amelia, and Dottie. She also spends a lot of time teaching and taking classes at her local fitness center. Feel free to ask her for a demo of her “signature” dance move!
Dr. Jessica Gramlich
Veterinarian
Dr. Gramlich has been practicing veterinary medicine since 2008. She attended the University of New Hampshire for her undergraduate degree and earned her veterinary degree from North Carolina State University. She has a special passion for dentistry and takes great pride in helping pets maintain healthy, comfortable lives through quality dental care.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Gramlich enjoys hiking with her dog Miles, snuggling with her cats Tackleberry and Fuzzy Lumpkins, tap dancing, and playing the cello. She’s also a fan of Moxie and looks forward each year to attending the Earmuff Festival in her home state of Maine.
Carolyn
Practice Manager
Carolyn brings nearly 20 years of experience in veterinary medicine, with the last decade dedicated to Apple Country Animal Hospital. She earned her Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) certification through Penn Foster and takes great pride in creating a welcoming, familiar experience for both clients and their pets.
Known for building strong relationships and supporting both her team and clients, Carolyn helps keep everything running smoothly while maintaining the close-knit, hometown feel of the hospital.
Outside of work, Carolyn enjoys DIY projects, camping, woodburning, and visiting her sister in Pennsylvania. She also loves spending time with her ACAH family outside of work and caring for her beloved animals—cats Van, Orson, Ursa, and Ginny Jean, as well as her horses Encore, Tia, and Abby.

Danielle
Certified Veterinary Technician
Danielle graduated from Becker College with an associate degree in veterinary technology and has over 10 years of experience in the field. She earned her CVT certification in 2012 and has continued to expand her knowledge and skills throughout her career.
Danielle is especially passionate about surgery and takes pride in providing top-notch care to her patients. She also values client education and building meaningful connections with both pets and their families.
Outside of work, Danielle enjoys snowboarding, hiking, traveling, and cuddling her cats, Joni and Georgie.
Ashley
Certified Veterinary Technician
Ashley pursued her Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) training at Penn Foster College. She takes great pride in her work, consistently going above and beyond for both clients and their pets. Her approach mirrors the Golden Rule, treating clients and their furry companions with the same care and respect she would expect herself. Ashley also finds joy in educating clients sharing valuable tips and tricks to enhance their pet care skills. In her free time, she enjoys riding motorcycles, playing board games, hanging out with family and friends, and spending time with her dog, Cody.

Emily
Veterinary Technician
Emily has been in the veterinary field for 14 years. She will make your day better just by meeting her energy and enthusiasm for life. Her calm demeanor makes her a favorite among patients, clients, and coworkers. When not at work, Emily can be found hiking with her dog Camilla, chasing her toddler around, and sharing delicious food with family and friends. Emily also has two cats- Gary Lazer Eyes, and Scorpion.
Donna
Veterinary Technician
Donna has 3 years of experience in the veterinary field. She takes pride in her passion for animals, recognizing and celebrating their unique personalities, much like humans. In her free time, Donna enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones, exploring breweries, reading books, honing her crochet skills, and indulging in movie nights. She also loves cuddling with her rescue dog, Petey, and her cat, Aurora.
Kristen
Veterinary Technician
Kristen has been an Apple Country staple since 2005 and brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to our patients every day. She has a special love for cats, especially her own trio: Abaddon, Malcador, and Sebastian.
Kristen is our go-to nutrition expert and has completed the Nutrition Advocates training. From senior diets to weight loss and specialty nutrition plans, she’s always learning and researching to help pets live their healthiest lives.
Outside of work, Kristen enjoys video games, sharing memes, listening to music, cooking, spending time with her cats, and sampling tasty libations. A proud night owl, she’s often up late relaxing with her kitties and enjoying some well-earned downtime.
Abby
Veterinary Technician
Abby has been working in veterinary medicine since 2022 and is currently enrolled in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technician program. She is passionate about building strong relationships with both clients and their pets and has a special interest in helping fearful patients feel safe and comfortable.
Outside of work, Abby enjoys hiking with her dog Maggie, going to the beach, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. No matter the adventure, she’s happiest when Maggie is by her side.
Holly
Veterinary Technician
Holly has 13 years of experience in the veterinary field. Holly is our “go-to” for blood draws and catheter placement. She enjoys dental cleanings and is passionate about senior dogs. Holly takes pride in helping pets recover from illness or injury. Outside of work, Holly enjoys reading, watching her daughter play hockey, all things spooky, and hanging out with friends and family. Holly loves taking walks with her dog Bane, and snuggles with her cats Krueger and Ouija.
Sam
Technician Assistant
Sam has been part of the veterinary world for two years and brings a gentle, caring touch to every patient she meets. She studied English at Middlesex Community College and loves taking the time to truly listen to pet owners, making sure every question and concern is answered.
Sam believes in a slow and steady approach—earning trust with plenty of praise, cozy snuggles, and the occasional cookie for her furry friends.
Outside the hospital, Sam enjoys reading, singing, swimming, crafting, and spending time with her family. She also loves playing with her Frenchie, Hades. Her dazzling laugh often echoes through the hospital, adding a little extra sparkle to everyone’s day.

Sarah
CSR
Sarah has been part of our team for two years and is one of the friendly faces who helps make every visit a positive experience. As a CSR, she takes pride in supporting both our clients and our team, helping things run smoothly so every pet receives the best care possible.
Outside the hospital, Sarah loves going to the beach, visiting family on the Cape, and getting happily lost in the woods with her Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix, Dude. She also has a well-known weakness for Crumbl Cookies!

Lexi
CSR
Lexi has been working in veterinary medicine for eight years and is truly phenomenal at what she does. She takes the time to get to know each pet and their owner, building lasting relationships that help clients feel confident and supported, especially during life’s tougher moments.
A positive, perky, pint-sized package, Lexi brings great energy to our CSR team and helps make every visit a welcoming one.
Outside of work, Lexi loves spending time with family and friends, as well as her dog Gus and her two cats, Chuck and Mia. She also enjoys traveling, going to the beach, and going to concerts.

Gail
CSR
Gail has 9 years of experience in the veterinary field. She takes pride in diagnosing the root cause of patient and client issues and providing assistance to help the patient feel better. In her free time, she enjoys riding her horses, gardening, going to the beach, and spending time with her cats, Teddy Muffin, Lucy, Henrietta, and Tiggee Tiger.
Lydia
CSR
Lydia boasts 12 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician and an additional 2 years as a Customer Service Representative at ACAH. She takes pride in her ability to effectively address client inquiries and share the wealth of knowledge she acquired during her tenure as a technician prior to joining ACAH. In her free time, she enjoys any hobby involving a needle and thread, open water swimming and napping under a cat.

Kayleigh
CSR
With 2 years of practice experience, Kayleigh excels in creating a comfortable atmosphere through friendly conversation and building robust client-patient connections. In her free time, she enjoys crafting and spending time with friends and family. She has 2 cats; Nemo and Ellie, and 2 dogs; Watson and Champ, as well as 2 ferrets and 1 bearded dragon.
